I am living proof that not being afraid to seize an opportunity can completely change your life.
After spending more years at University than I care to count, my partner of 20+years and I settled down in southwest Florida in the States and enjoyed a great “lifestyle” for many years. One day it dawned on me that, while life looked great from the outside, I wasn’t happy. In a move that seemed unthinkable to some, my spouse, daughter and I moved halfway around the world to begin the next stage of our lives together in New Zealand. It has truly allowed us to bring balance back to our lives and is one of the best things we have done as a family.
Why I share that with you because, in my work I attempt to impress upon my clients and those who have seen me speak that they should not be afraid to step out of their “comfort zones” and try something new or different in order to get a better result. I am happy to report that, often, the message gets through.

For the past few years, my work as a Business Coach with 10X has allowed me the privilege of working closely with a wide variety of clients in many different industries to support and guide them to achieve their business objectives.
I so enjoy being a ‘sounding board’ and key accountability partner for my clients! My role is to not only help them strategize an action plan to move forward but hold them accountable to IMPLEMENT that action plan and take meaningful action. With me on the team, things GET DONE!
I assist my clients with many different areas of their businesses. I support them to create meaningful marketing activity plans, hold strategy sessions with key leadership team members, create action plans for implementation, review and improve systems and processes in the business and conduct training sessions with team members on anything from time management to great customer service.
Area Director of Sales & Marketing:
In this role, I was instrumental in training, guiding and supervising the activities and results of a team of hotel sales managers. This team was responsible for ensuring that over 400 hotel rooms and thousands of square metres of conference space were filled most days of the year. During my time in the position, I supported my team to give themselves a “pay raise” of 7% through guiding them to hit sales targets and achieve consistent bonus pay. I also was instrumental in developing and implementing the roughly $1million USD marketing budget for our group of hotels. I took great pride in making sound hiring decisions – in a notoriously turnover-heavy industry.
My role as Managing Director for eWomenNetwork Fort Myers, FL. involved building a community of female professionals who supported each others’ development and growth as individuals and business leaders in our community. Our organization grew from zero to 100+ members in just under 24 months. Our members launched businesses and dramatically grew businesses with the support of the eWomenNetwork community.
eWomenNetwork Fort Myers, FL. also was instrumental in supporting local non-profits and generously gave over $10,000 USD to local, deserving non-profits while under my leadership.
I spent 8 total years as a financial advisor, working with two different companies. During that time, I was able to assist hundreds of families and businesses to take measures to protect their assets and secure their financial futures. I still remember the stories of how our savvy planning was instrumental in keeping businesses afloat and providing families with cash to get through really hard times.
